SPTC Social Coordinator, Marnie Thorpe, turns out not to have been seriously injured when she had a fall last week, and will be selflessly organising provisions needed to have the season’s first barbecue this Tuesday, May 31. Marnie, you are our hero! The event had been originally scheduled for last week, until a series of unforeseen circumstances forced a postponement.
Unless it is actually raining, bring your appetites to courtside on Tuesday evening, folks. These days the courts dry out quickly once the drops have ceased falling. Don’t let a shower in the afternoon prevent you from grabbing your racquet and coming down to the park. 5:30 till dark.
